"Snowmaking is shut down until our cold temperatures return on Tuesday night. We'll continue to make snow on the pipe, prep The Gulch for a rebuild (hopefully before next weekend), continue on Mineshaft and install some features, and expand snowmaking onto Inferno. If you haven't been on Nitro yet we have a three-hit jump line with both small and medium take offs. Grommet will be open mid week with hiking only."
If you happen to spend the night, make sure to hit up Gringo's, the margarita's are dope. Also, even though it is a small area the cops are brutal so make sure not to have to many drinks and try to drive back to your hotel.
Mount Snow is one of the best. It's very easy to get to and it's affordable. I go here every opening day. They have a huge park and you can really get some fresh turns in on a stormy day. It's never packed and the staff is really fiendly.
