Killington continues to be the only spot in VT that is able to throw down fake snow in these spring like temps. I wouldn't make the drive just yet though. There was more hiking involved and there were bare spots galore at the base. The plan is to crank up the snowmaking guns this week as colder temps roll into the microclimatic region we call Killington.

P.S. - The jam band moe. is hosting a festival @ Killington March 26 27 28. Check it out!

Killington opened today, it was really good. They had a top to bottom run from the gondola & a chair was running on the Northridge area. Bumps, groomers, loose pow ... I was glad to see they made so much snow in such a short time frame.

THE BEAST!!

K-fed, special K, Killer whales ... big names sure ... but not as big as the beast of the east! Killington has the largest trail system and some of the steepest descents in VT. Shopping, nightlife and great restaurants really set them apart from the others. The new Burton Stash terrain park is sick! It's got natural features and crazy man-made structures you would never think to shred on. Pack your bags and head for Killington, you won't be disappointed.
